Jasmine Turner – European Championships

Holemasters are delighted to announce we are supporting Jasmine Turner who recently qualified for the ITF Taekwon-Do Championships in Liverpool this year.

At only 12 years old Jasmine Turner from Chapelhall is the youngest female to be selected to represent Scotland at the European Championships 2017. This year the competition will be held in Liverpool. Jasmine, who is a 1st year pupil at Caldervale High School in Airdrie, has managed to achieve a Black Belt in May 2016 after taken part in the martial art for 4 years – what an achievement!

JasmineAlthough the sport is well recognised there is very little funding available and even less funding is available for young competitors. As you can imagine the financial burden placed on families is quite extensive, considering competitors have to buy two sets of kit (Blue and Red), travel to the venues and stay at the venues to name a few.

So we decided to get on board and make sure there was no issues for Jasmine as she represents Scotland at the Championships.

We wish her all the very best and we’ll keep you updated on her progress!
