Craigpark Colts
Holemasters are delighted to be main sponsor for local youth team Craigpark Colts!
Craigpark Colts started off playing in the Monklands league in 2009 at development 4’s level where they had 2 teams of 6 boys, and their training facility was at Airdrie leisure centre on the 3g pitch.
The natural progression from development 4’s for the team was to development 7 aside football. during th
is time they moved to the central Scotland league to give the team a better variety of football, during the 3 years at this level they built the squad numbers up to 25 boys as were preparing to go into 11 aside competitive football.
Jason Todd, Head Coach said “As we prepared for our first season in competitive football Holemasters agreed to become our club sponsor, This enabled us to move our training and home pitch for match day to caldervale high school 3g which is where 80% of the team attend school.”
“Our first year at competitive football Season 2014/2015 was very successful in which we went the whole season unbeaten, having only drawn 3 games and winning the rest scoring over 145 goals in the process and only conceding 22 we won the league and the league cup double which is a fantastic achievement at any level.”
They are now half way through season 2016/2017 which is the third season at competitive level, and they currently have a squad of 18 players, 3 qualified coaches, 2 trainee coaches.
