Fire Protection Services

Holemasters are approved installation contractors with all of the major manufacturers of fire protection products.

Passive Fire Protection is a process of installing special fire rated materials in attempts to contain and to slow the spread fires and smoke in a building, through use of fire-resistant walls and floors which together make up a fire compartment.

These compartments will have a fire rating associated with them, usually 30min/60min or 120min depending on the building, where the material installed must withstand this time to allow people in buildings to be rescued or escape.

Also protected is the steelwork within a building. This process involves painting or spraying on a intumescent material, again to a desired hour rating, which will allow protection to the steel from the heat of a fire.

Holemasters Fire Protections are a third party accredited under the BRE Global Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) scheme. Under the LPCB brand, we offer independent, third-party certification so you can be sure that the products installed meet the highest standard.
