Supporting Local Families – Christmas Appeal 2025

We were proud to once again support the Airdrie Action Partnership Christmas Appeal, helping to make a

difference for local families during the 2025 festive period.

This year, our donation focused on providing gift vouchers aimed specifically at teenagers. Teenagers are often an age group that can be unintentionally overlooked during Christmas appeals, and we wanted to ensure they felt included, valued, and supported at what can be a difficult time for many families.

Thanks to the combined efforts of local organisations, businesses, and volunteers, the Christmas Appeal achieved an incredible level of support across Airdrie and the surrounding villages:

  • 341 families supported overall

  • 717 children and teenagers received gifts or clothing

  • 15 families received food gift vouchers to help with Christmas dinners

  • 45 individual gift cards distributed

  • 55 referrals made to North Lanarkshire Council’s Tackling Poverty team for income maximisation support

The partnership also identified and managed duplicated referrals to ensure help reached as many households as possible.

We’re incredibly grateful to Airdrie Action Partnership for the work they do year-round to support vulnerable families, and we’re pleased to have played a small part in such a meaningful community effort. Appeals like this show what can be achieved when local organisations come together with a shared goal of kindness and support.

We look forward to continuing to support initiatives that make a real difference in our community.
